Day 1: Arrival Day - City Tours of Yerevan

Meet the guests at the Yerevan International airport.
Transfer to the hotel, after some rest city tour.
Explore Yerevan, which is one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cites, the capital and the largest city of the country, cultural, administrative and industrial center of Armenia.
During walking tour have the opportunity of seeing Republic Square, Opera House and Cascade.
Visit Matenadaran, a museum, repository of manuscripts, and a research institute in Yerevan, Armenia. It is the world’s largest repository of Armenian manuscripts.
It was established in 1959 on the basis of the nationalized collection of the Armenian Church, formerly held at Etchmiadzin. Its collection has gradually expanded since its establishment, mostly from individual donations. One of the most prominent landmarks of Yerevan, it is named after Mesrop Mashtots, the inventor of the Armenian alphabet, whose statue stands in front of the building.
Tour program also includes the visit to Vernisage and Fruit and Vegetable market.

Day 2: Garni - Gerhard Monastery

Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Garni Temple, built in the 1st century and situated at the edge of the cliff, which overlooks the Azat River and the Gegham mountains, which is considered to be one of the gorgeous diamonds of pagan times. Lavashi ( Armenian Flatbread) backing Masterclass.
Drive to a medieval monastery, built in the 13th century and being carved out of the adjacent mountain. This monastery is Geghard, meaning “Spear” and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Enjoy free time in Yerevan.

Day 3: Echmiatsin – Zvartnots cathedral

Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to the ruins of the 7th century AD Temple of Zvartnots (buiIt in 641—661), which was to suppress Ejmiatsin cathedral by its grandeur. The remnants of Zvartnots are a wonderful sight, even in ruins. Only the lower parts of the walls and individual fragments have been survived.
Echmiadzin – the holy seat of the Supreme Patriarch-Catholicos of all Armenians. The Cathedral was built in 303 on the site of a pagan temple after the adoption of Christianity as a state religion in 301.

Day4: Khon Virap Monastery – Manorama of mount Ararat – Noravank monastic

Breakfast at the hotel. Then drive to see Khon Virap Monastic complex and panorama of biblical mount Ararat ( if the weather is clear). Khor Virap Monastery is an important religious site mainly related to the adoption of Christianity, but it is also one of the best (if not the best) locations to capture Mount Ararat in its greatness! Keep your camera with you and hope for sunny weather to get the perfect shot. Because of these two characteristics, Khor Virap has become a popular tourism destination. Then drive to see Noravank is a 13th-century Armenian monastery, located 122 km from Yerevan in a narrow gorge made by the Amaghu River, near the town of Yeghegnadzor in Armenia. The gorge is known for its tall, sheer, brick-red cliffs, directly across from the monastery. The monastery is best known for its two-storey Surb Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God) Church, which grants access to the second floor by way of a narrow stone-made staircase jutting out from the face of building.

Day 5: Sadakhlo - Tbilisi City Tour

After breakfast in the hotel we will make check-out drive to the Armenain/Georgian border Sadakhlo. After corssing the border changing the the transport and drive to Tbilisi, capital og Goergia. Evening Tbilisi city tour. We will start our tour by visiting old Tbilisi, to visit 13th century Metekhi church, with the equestrian statue of the city’s royal founder standing above the steep cliffs of the Mtkvari River. The church has been destroyed many times by the enemy. Afterwards enjoy the opportunity to travel by cable car and reach the great monument of the Mother of Georgia. Then descend from the mountain, through the narrow streets to the Narikala Fortress, from there you can enjoy amazing view of Tbilisi. Then we will walk to the Tbilisi Mosque which was built in XVI century. Continue to 7th century Sioni Cathedral, it is considered one of the most sacred places in the country, since it houses the holy cross of St Nino, the young woman who converted Georgia to Christianity in the early 4th century; Sioni was the only active church during Soviet Occupation. We visit 6th century Anchiskhati Basilica, the oldest church in the town.

Day 6: Tbilisi – Bodbe Monastery – Sighnaghi – Telavi

After breakfast in the hotel you will make check-out and drive visiting Kahketi- the most important wine-growing region of Georgia. Firstly, we will visit Bodbe monastery, which takes a special place in the spiritual life of Georgia. The church holds relics of St. Nino enlightener. There is a one of the most famous icons of Georgia – Virgin ” Iver “. During the World War II the monastery was used as a hospital. Nurses and some patients have secretly prayed before the image. At 3 km from the monastery are the holy springs of St. Nino. Then we will head to wonderful town of Sighnaghi where winding streets and architecture of the 18th century create a charming atmosphere. From the slopes of the hill on which is Sighnaghi, offers a magnificent view of the Alazani Valley with its orderly rows of vineyards. After that we will go to a restaurant for lunch. Then we will head to Telavi. On the way visit to Tsinandali home-museum of Alexander Chavchavadze famous Georgian writer. We will walk in famous English style garden then we will have tour in museum. Hotel check-in.

Day 7: Telavi – Gremi – Tbilisi

We start our tour by city tour in Telavi, where will visit House-museum of King Erekle II (Erekle’s palace) – Founded in 1927 as a museum of local lore. The architectural complex of “Batonis Tsikhe” is a castle which still remains as the only Royal Palace in Georgia. The complex is a remarkable monument of cultural heritage with its architectural-historical features. Then we will head Gremi, historical citadel and Church which was built by Georgian king in 1565 year. After visiting Gremi we will go to a restaurant for lunch. Then we will have opportunity to visit Georgian traditional wine cellar where you can taste Georgian wine. After Driving to Tbilisi. Arrival in Tbilisi, hotel check-in.

Day 8: Tbilisi – Ananuri – Stephantsminda ( Gergeti Trinity Church) - Tbilisi

After breakfast in the hotel we will drive to Mtskheta-Mtianeti region. First visit to Ananuri castle The Ananuri fortified ensemble dating from the 17th century, is located on the left bank of the Aragvi River, along the famous original Georgian Military Highway, 66km from Tbilisi. It contains the remains of a number of beautiful frescoes, after we will visit Arch of friendship (was built in 1983 to celebrate the bicentennial of the Treaty of Georgievsk.) From the monument is opening beautiful view of the Caucasus Mountains. Then we will head to Kazbegi (Stephantsminda). we will go to a restaurant for lunch. After lunch we will drive with 4×4 car to visit Gergeti trinity church, at an elevation of 2170 meters. It was built in XIV century, from the monastery is amazing view on the Caucasian mountains. Then return to Tbilisi. Arrival in Tbilisi.

Day 9: Departure Day

Transfer to Tbilisi International Airport.
